10-16 March is the Heart Foundation's Salt Awareness Week.
On average, we're eating about 3 times more salt than we should be and that's adding up to a whopping 3.2kg on average for each of us, each year. Whilst you might be carefully monitoring what goes in the cooking pot, or being sprinkled over the dinner plate its enlightening to find out how much salt is hidden in our daily staples.
